Default Old sealed 7,65mm ammo boxes

Hello!
Here my last 7,65mm Parabellum cartridge "treasures"... First the oldest and the nicest sealed ammo box I could find up today. Then a "Beschuss" (pressure test) box: these cartridges are very nice looking with their bright blue coloured cases...Finally a box of aluminium cased (Avional). A suggestive legend tells that the Swiss used to make these cases from the wrecks of U.S., British and German aircrafts that crashed or forced landed into their borders...
Nothing so special, but these sealed boxes, in mint condition, are getting scarce - and very expensive - even at Swiss Gunshows...
Cheers, Fausto

Fausto,

Nice finds, especially the proof rounds. These are going for about $25 a piece over here...(the rounds, not the boxes!)

Hello Guys! Just coming from Lausanne Gunshow. And about sealed boxes of old Swiss ammo, not too much around. Yes, they had something, but in very bad condition (dirty boxes, traces of price labels glued on and on, rip package and so...) and at high price. I just got a nice sealed box of 7,5mm Revolver dated 1930 for about $70.
And yes, Vlim, I have seen proof rounds both 7,65mm Parabellum and 9mm sell on the loose for a lot of money. But any Gunshow has some surprise: this year it was plenty of good Luger, Sig, and 7,5mm Revolver holsters...Maybe next year we'll have more good ammo boxes... And BTW it was also plenty of near mint-mint Lugers, Sig and so...But unfortunately it is very difficult for a non Swiss citizen to buy them...

Well there was only one guy with an ammo stand there, what he had on display was very limited and you should have asked him for specific ammo.
He is a local police officer and also involved in the organisation of that show from the beginning on.
