Default WaffenFabrikKK

My spies report that mags made at the former E. German Suhl facility are now being stamped with the Nazi era Haenel-Schmeisser stamp/logo and sold for $200.

In addition, they report the same source has made up some K date holsters with KM markings. This source is the former midwest connection with an apparent link to Arizona, I am told.

This info is unconfirmed by me but I have received it from two different sources...both extremely knowledgeable collectors. so, BE WARNED!

Hey Shadow and the rest of the forum,

You guys 8really* need to be subscribing to AUTOMAG; it keeps serious tabs on the fakery that abounds...and yes, be very careful about things that come from the MIDWEST.

A simple way to check holsters for authenticity is to close your eyes...don't look at them, use other senses...

Yes, use your nose. Old German leather usually has a faint, unmistakable odor. Old Turkish leather, on the other hand, often has an odor such that you need to open the windows for a while and leave the offending item outside for a week to air out. And new holsters smell like new holsters.

New, original looking markings on an old original holster are an entirely different subject.
