Default Unit marked 1910

Guys,
I purchased a DWM 1910 today on the Rock Island Auction. No decent pictures yet, but they did provide the unit mark; 14.U.1.15. Can anyone provide information as to the meaning of this unit mark.

Thanks,
Mike

George, your ID would seem to indicate a flying unit...Rather than cavalry...Is that correct??? Or did the Uhlans have their own esoteric military designations???

A company level unit in the cavalry, including ours, is a squadron. In German, Eskadron.

A cavalry company is a Troop, a cavalry battalion is a Squadron.

The end of the Civil War was near
When quite accidentally,
A hero who sneezed abruptly seized
Retreat and reversed it to victory.

His medal of honor pleased and thrilled
his proud little family group.
While pinning it on some blood was spilled
And so it was planned he'd command... F Troop!!!

For some reason any Uhlan marked weapon has been elusive for me to find. But I did manage to find a 1912 Erfurt and a 84/98 bayonet unit marked to the 15. U.
