I don't think ANY WW2 veteran would recognize this monstrosity as a "War Trophy" they had ever seen. What a horrible end to a Luger pistol.
The people who do this are pandering to the so called "investment collector" market. People who for the most part buy these "things" not to shoot or for any real history..just to sell later.

Back in 2008, I posted this photo. Looks like it's time to dust it off and post it again.... I'm sure somewhere in these here states, there are 25 owners who feel they're the luckiest guys in the world because they "scored" one of these pistols.....
