Default Erfurt Grips

Hello guys,

Don't know of this is the right place for this but was wondering where I can get original grips for my 1918 Erfurt Luger ? One of mine is broke on the back side and grip just slides back and forth

Thanks

You might consider sending the grip to GT here on this site to see if he can repair it for you.

Actually, it would be Hugh, GT does magazines and mag bottoms...

You can buy grips on ebay, gunbroker and members of this site.

A decent pair of Erfurt grips will not be cheap though.

How much am I looking at if I can find them? The originals are ok but one side on the back a piece is broke or worn and slides back and forth

Sometimes a small bit of Brownell's accra-glass can be used to tighten up grips, as can a fiber washer, etc. Probably best to salvage what you have if you can.

Joey, David is correct..I would send them to Hugh Clark to see if he can work some magic on them. He understands grips.

A decent original replacement pair might run $200-250 IMO
