Looking for Navy locking bolt
Greetings Luger collectors. I am hoping someone out there can help me find a straw colored locking bolt for my 1917 DWM Navy Luger. I have been searching all over the internet and gun shows. As you may be aware this model has its serial stamped on the under side of the tang. The number 12 would be correct but I would consider any number right now. The knurled cap is missing on the one I have. Thanks in advance.

A strawed commercial would be an eligible candidate as well..Numbered on the underside.

check with "LugerDoc" for available original and reproduction parts... if he doesn't have any, and no one chimes in here to rescue you, I would contact "Policelugers"--- he is a very capable gunsmith with Luger takedown lever repair experience... I am sure he could create you a new "knob" and attach it to your broken one.

Hi Bill. Welcome to the forum! You should contact Tom Heller, aka Luger Doc, at: [email protected]. He may have a strawed Commercial/Navy take-down lever in stock.
I'd like to add your 1917 Navy to the Navy List, but need the full serial number. If you email me at: [email protected], I'll send you a link to the list. Regards, Norm |
