My New American Eagle Mauser

Just happened to see this on a for sale board. It is an early one, Vlim told me

29/70, relatively early one, probably 1970. It has the initial frame with the longer frame ramps.

and

engraved, rather than rolled Mauser logo.
It was part of the first delivery to Interarms, shipped in the 24th crate on the 26th of February, 1971.
(page 309 of our book).

I like American Eagles and have an original 9mm AE, a 1970's Mauser 9mm and this one, although in the Swiss style, kind of I liked the 6 inch barrel and 30 luger is nice. It is just about like brand new, must have been a safe-queen.
