Default artillery holster finding ....

gents, good morning ...

some days ago a parcel with my new artillery holster arrives.
i will post pictures here, and ask about the two stamps, the ink stamp under the flap and the diestamp with the makersallocation.

what i can read from the ink stamp is:
---------------------
L.B.A.G
1916

---------------------

reading the diestamp:
--------------------------------------------------------
xxxx GENOSSENSCHFT xxxxx in circle with
BERLIN in the middle
1916
2

--------------------------------------------------------

anyone who can help me identify ????
i did not found these stamps in görtz sturgees ....

the "Brettchen" has an crown S stamp,

DWM ?? any alternative suggestiones ??

will post pics after cleaning and reassembly

@ lugerholsterrepair, can you provide the two badly damaged leather straps (taschenschlaufe and kappenriemen) for my restauration projekt ???
is there a chance to get these parts in an matching color/shade and quality.
also the missing shoulder carrying strap is of current interest for me

regards from Austria, wolfganggo .......

Wolfgang..Congratulations! I hope these photo's are before cleaning? It's hard to tell but it looks like you may need a boot keeper strap and there is a photo of a pull-up strap on the holster but then none in the pull-up slot? I make all the things you need ..also the shoulder carry strap with leather keepers and adjustment studs.

You have the cleaning rod..is there a loading tool?

You have a pretty severe case of mold going on. Lots of cleaning to do!

Jerry

Default cleaned ....

so, let me show the unit clean and neat with other parts of my little ari-collection ....
i decided i will not replace and/or add things with retrofit parts.
will leave it as ist is, original .....

regards from austria, wolfganggo .....

ps.: Jerry, thx for your offer regarding retrofit leatherparts, for the time i have no demand.
some little repair was done here in vienna, a company manufacturing reenactment leather parts for the last 17 years has done it.

Wolfgang,
That cleaned up rather nicely I would say! Congratulations on your purchase and for preserving as much of the original material as you could.
