I am sure the experts are going to want to see some pics of the bottom of the magazine. Also any other markings on the magazine.

The tube appears to be blued.
That makes it a good candidate for a Dutch navy magazine, which accompanied the Mauser made pistols which were delivered to the Dutch navy. |

Interesting. It is a blued tube and looks almost the same as the one you picture, just in a bit rougher of shape. I know absolutely nothing about Duch Lugers so thanks for the info. Any other input would be of great help. I can get some better close up pictures tonight after work if that will help in identification and appraisal.
