Artillery Luger Shoulder Stock Photos.
We don't seem to have a good way to research shoulder stocks...The purpose of this thread is compile a large album of good quality photographs of Artillery Luger shoulder stocks that can be used by all members to compare and evaluate stocks they may come across in their collecting activities.
If you own an Artillery Luger Shoulder Stock, or just have some good photos of these stocks, please post photos of it (or them) in this message thread. Please upload your photos directly to the Lugerforum using the "Manage Attachments" feature in the advanced mode... Please do not post your photos to external sites and just link them here. Many members cannot SEE photos posted on external websites because their computer location (usually their employer) filters those sites... Try to take and use good clear focus closeups of both sides of the stock, and both sides, and the top of the stock iron, and show any stamps, cartouches, or proof and inspection marks. Please describe in your posting, whether or not the stock is Original or Reproduction, the manufacturer (if known), the serial number including letter suffix if it has one, and anything unusual about your stocks... This thread will likely become a "sticky" reference in this forum...thanks in advance to all those will contribute to this photo collection. Who will get this Photo Album Started by posting first ?

Another but earlier Erfurt Crown/G. This one is numbered in the wood rather than the iron.

Hey Jerry. Please open a similar thread in the Navy Luger forum for Navy Stock photos. It will simplify research for the newbies. Lets keep this thread for Artillery Stocks only.

probably 1916 DWM ...
crown S stamp
556a comes together with an 1916 Holster and an cleaning rod with brass tip i my opinion this set lies together for a long time or an collector assembeled it . things are matching (unmarked, probably dwm cleaning rod, brass tiped - early one), crown S (for dwm ??) on stock, stock serial checked according to stills book, so i believe that the Holster manufacturing date will be productiondate of the whole set ..... see also http://forum.lugerforum.com/showthread.php?t=30872 regards from Austria ... wolfganggo . |

Jerry, you have my email address for the future, please purge the old email address from your records... and so where is Ms. Ellie? You may be the leather master craftsman Jerry, but she is the Computer Operator and Photo Poster extraordinaire! Tell her I said Hi!
