Default Need holster I.D.

After 5 years of trying I finally took possession of a 1936 S/42 that belonged to my uncle's girlfriend. Her dad brought it back after WWII. I'll post some photos when I get the chance.

The hard shell holster that came with it is unmarked except for a droop wing eagle over a 2 stamped inside just below the flap stitching. Any ideas who the manufacturer was?

Sounds like you have a sought after Krieghoff holster. Not sure on manufacturer as most were only marked with the E/2. Depending on condition these sell for $500 up. When you post pictures include the holster please. Bill

Just did a little more looking and found WALZ stamped on the underside of the flap under the strap. Can't find a date.

If there is WALZ than it should be from the Imperial time.

I also have a Krieghoff holster E/2 inside and also a small WALZ stamped inside by the closure strap. Bill
