Default G date extractor

I noticed the word GELADEN on my extractor. What does this mean? Thanks, Phil

Lugers made for America frequently were marked "LOADED" in this location

With a cartridge in the chamber, the extractor is raised and the marking indicates a loaded condition.

This is one thing the Germans usually did with pistols was to make sure the shooter could determine if the pistol was loaded or not by feel. With the Luger, you could feel the extractor, with the P.38, PP, PPK, you could feel the signal pin. I like this feature myself.
