Made in Berlin I believe. Pretty high quality scope in the late 60's, 70's, early 80's. The Brits used them on the Enforcer police sniper rifles.

I also believe made in Berlin. According to Bing info they went out of business in 2008. I would expect they are very good quality. Bill

One never knows what turns under up the next leaf. I have no interest in long guns except for hunting. My grandson asked me to try to find a nice bolt action rifle for him to hunt deer in the upcoming season. He has a very limited budget so I turned to the Simpsons site as he has a wealth of almost any type of firearm. I found a nice looking Husqvarna bolt action with a scope already mounted on it priced at under $400.00. It arrived yesterday and much to my surprise, it is a very nice looking rifle. Nice checkering; probably hand checkered as it dates in the 1947 era. The scope is just a nice as the rifle.
After posting my question about the scope, I did some homework about the scope and as it turns out, it is probably worth several hundred dollars. Needless to say I will find him a nice Tasco and sell the Pecar and give him the rifle and scope. I found out there is a Pecar collectors club. I guess we never too old to learn. Mike |
