Envious....
What a wonderful collection...I green with envy!
Just curious though, why no Cartridge Counter to round it off? |

Re: Envious....
In Italy there is a restriction concerning the caliber. The 9 Luger caliber is forbidden, therefore the pistols in this caliber are reworked in 9*21. In my understanding this operation damnage competely the pistol and the collectable value is lost. So only the pistol in .30 Luger are available for the collection. The LP08 you see in the picture is a rare commemorative version made by Mauser in .30 Luger. The Cartridge Counter is in 9 mm, this is way is not in my collection.

Re: The Unsorted Pictures are GOING AWAY...
Does that mean Owner's Corner is going to be reactivated?

Mauro, open a user profile and Dok will create an Owner's Corner
Photo folder for you... Each of your Lugers can be displayed there in theri own folder if you will send Dok some text to accompany them.
The owner's corner is only for those who have taken the time to register a user profile... Please email Dok your own photo as well for the Rogues Gallery... this is another privilege that is only for those who have created a user profile here on the Lugerforum. regards, John Sabato PS - I haven't forgotten your request for Artillery Luger photographs... I will really try to do them this week. |

Dwight, see my post below to Mauro for an explanation
The owner's corner was never deactivated to my knowledge? What gave you that impression?

Re: The Unsorted Pictures are GOING AWAY...
The Unsorted Pictures aqnd the Owner's Corner are not connected. The Unsorted Photos are a bunch of photos that were left over from years ago. Many are by Ted, but some are unknown, and I'm going to pull them so I have a space on the menu bar.
The Owner's Corner was paused because I couldn't keep up with the posting. Members would send a dozen pictures at a shot, often with no write-up, and it was a big job for me in the very limited time I had available, to post these. I need to think of how this can be reinstated so that... a) It becomes a meaningfull display and b) It doesn't eat up all my time When I've figured all that out, the Owner's Corner will be back. Mauro, I was mistaken... Please read Dok's post above regarding
The Unsorted photos and the owner's corner...
The Rogue's Gallery is still functional and you can submit your own photo for that by email to Dok. regards, John |
