C&R question
If I use my C&R to buy a C&R firearm from a dealer thru the mail, then later sell that firearm locally, am I suppose to get a 4473 filled out, or just fill out the disposition side of the bound book accordingly?

If you hold a C&R FFL you don't use a Form 4473 as you're not a dealer. See 478.124
You do, however, need to log it out if your FFL is still valid.

As Bill mentions, you would log it out of your bound book as a disposition. Remember to get the birth date of the buyer as part of the information. Of course, you cannot transfer to a prohibited person. Avoid the appearance of being a straw purchaser (time should pass between acquisition and disposition).
You also have to comply with all local and state laws. I don't know what state you're in. The 4473 is only for 01 dealer FFL disposition transfers.

David, be glad you don't live in NY State! A C&R is useless, unless perhaps to obtain a discount from suppliers. All handgun transactions now need to happen thru a Class 1
