How To Edit A User Profile...?
Hello DOK or John D,
I don't seem to be able to open my existing User Profile and then just edit. I only seem to be able to delete or create a totally new profile. But when I do this both the old and new profile both remain. Am I doing something wrong ? |

I got into the same mess a couple days ago....
and John D kindly fixed it ! I don't know why it creates a seperate profile if you change 1 thing! I'll bet John or Dok-tor knows !

Re: How To Edit A User Profile...?
I just tried to update mine and ended up making a whole new profile. Pictures are now limited at 60 KB's.

Hi Pete...!
OK - the "Profiles" are totally "name" driven. If you look carefully at your "Profile Name" of:
Wm. "Pete" Ebbink it is a little different then one of your previous ones that I deleted, that was: Wm "Pete" Ebbink Notice that there was no period after the "Wm" on the second profile - so the system took it as two different profiles. Also - if you add extra "spaces" between your names or use "quotes" in different places - it will have the same effect of creating two profiles... Anyway - the best thing may be to try to "Cut & Paste" the previous profile "name" into the new profile name, with any differences in the characters, spaces - or extra spaces at the end of your name..?? Let me know if that doesn't work for you, OK??? Best to you! |
