What Ever Happened To Eugene?
I haven't heard and posts lately of his work~ He does great luger magic! Are there any other luger maker still out there? Eric

Eugene has not posted anything about CC payments, so sadly, I will have to take my considerable monetary assets to my grave. But you, Eric, and the others here wavering on the fence as to whether to buy one now at this price (Eugene has already said the 3rd batch will cost more) or not can jump in now while the iron is hot! Just tell Debbie it's an investment and you can sell it for twice as much a year or two from now...

I believe Eugene has modified his payment options -
Payment options: Our company offers payment plans for interested buyers: First Batch: Deposit of $1000 with 4 additional monthly payments of $1000 Second Batch: Deposit of $500 with 9 additional monthly payments of $500 Third Batch: Deposit of $250 with 19 additional monthly payments of $250 http://www.lugerman.com/Pages/MainPages/Luger45.html The first batch is sold out but I believe there is still one or two available from the second batch... Hurry!!! There's no time to lose!!! Grab one of those bags of cash under your bed and send it over to Eugene!!!

Eugene is hard at work, finishing up the first 20 .45 lugers.
I heard from him this week, though I don't know when the first ones will "deliver". He did say one of the prototypes had gone to Guns and Ammo magazine for a review about 3 weeks ago.

Eugene, on the side, has been working on a single shot 45 gap for me (he had those parts that I bought / traded last year). We talked recently and he said that like Don said above, one working prototype is at Guns & Ammo, while I assume he is finishing the rest.
I have told him that we would make a sticky of his 45 ACP Luger reviews, as he is trying to be very transparent of the 45 Luger and its capabilities. So once he tells me that he has shipped some, I or him will make a thread in the Repairs, Restoration & Refinishing forum. http://forum.lugerforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=127 Ed |

Thank you everyone for your trust , support and patience.
It's been about 3 + weeks that we have send prototype #4. First assembled gun to Guns and Ammo, And patiently waiting it's return. We are chatting back and forth with Patrick S. and so far I have not heard anything unexpected. As promissed people from first batch can get that prototype gun for a week to play with and report. Before there own guns start shipping. Others can get it too, but will have to pay for shipping. We did sell 40 units , with 4 staying in house and 3 prototype guns. The price is up a bit, mostly because of 10% production federal tax. That will hit us after we go over 50 units a year mark in 2018. All God willing. We have decide to offer a last available gun for sale. That is a target model that is assembled and been tested and is shown on the website. Rest will be waiting for 2018 year end for the next 50 or so units. By the way prototype went thru 6000 + rounds before it headed over to G&A. Target model had about 1500 thru it. So far so good.

Eugene, I think what folks are asking is - although you are offering the prototype to play with (among 20 people - that is about 6-7 months before someone gets to see it).
So, how far along are you? When will first batch, let alone second batch start to ship? |

FYI- From the lugerman website:
"First Batch of 12 units will start shipping soon. First batch will be shipped out in presentation cases with 3 magazines and 2 sets of grips. Second Batch of 28 more units will be ready for shipping in December of 2017. It will be shipping with 2 magazines and one set of grips. Third Batch of 50 more units will be ready for shipping in December of 2018. It will be shipping with 2 magazines and one set of grips." There are many pictures and more interesting details on the lugerman.com website.

We got 26 guns polished and fitted with all the parts,
Each gun takes about 2 days to fit and polish. We have been checkering grips for the past two weeks. With 15 grips done. Some small parts will need to be heat treated. Lanyard loops will need to be installed, we were working on that process last week as well as assembling more magazines. Barrels will need to be installed and head spaced. Then we will assemble each gun in the white , test it and then they will go to a rust blue room and get dressed up. Still need to cut presentation boxes for the first 12. Lots to do, so little time.
