Default Mauser Banner Question

Hello.
I recently "fell into" this find.
I have a few other Lugers byfs of various years, but this is a first.
My immediate notion was a Russian Capture, but there are no import marks and the old lady I purchased it from I am confident had in her possession for 25 years or more (How long ago her husband passed).
That said. Mauser Banner 2 guns (serials) minus side plate ... Im at a loss and open to suggestion as to what it could be.
Minus a trade for a pack of cigs back in 1945 !

Thanks for any light you can shed.

Mauser assembled commercial Lugers for private sales after 1942. They used left over and rejected military parts. Usually marked 42 over the chamber. Yours may be one of these assembled really late war and factory mismatched. Or it could have happened postwar.
