New to Me 1916 DWM Artillery
Mornin All,
Figured I would share my latest find. I found this at my local Cabelas in there Library. Believe it or not they actually had 5 Lugers and a P38 in the case. I could help but bring this one home 1916 DWM Artillery Minus the Mag it is matching, finish looks pretty good and the bore is beautiful I could only hope to look this good at 102 It appears that it spent some time in England as it has the British Nitro Proofing Thoughts on value? Questions, comments, or any other input on her is appreciated Thanks in advance for your comments and input |

You just bought it?
Maybe you can tell us the value. You are correct about the UK, it has also seen some buffing and refinishing- at least on the lower. Matching, grips too ? It would be nice if you went to the trouble to put the pictures on the server for the forum, then they won't disappear in the future- and we might be able to enlarge them a bit.

Jose,
Nice gun for the money especially. Really not about the money is it? Personal information is always near and dear to us all, I know of no requirement here on this forum for giving out such publicly fwiw. Enjoy the new Luger |

Simply clicking on the user's name in the posting, brings down several tabs...........one is user profile.
clicking on user profile allows signed in members to view that poster's personal information that he/she has allowed to be viewed. I like real first names myself, but not a heart breaker for me not to know the real name, the content of the posting can overcome such needs on my part. A simple snap of the fingers and if there is something about said poster..........there it is. Also in the tabs is private messaging to convey further or attempt thereof. Jose, I saw an Arty this week, numbers matching even to the grips; along with a Bing 32 round original drum........but did not see the money in it. You got a reasonable deal I think. Arty's are their own entity shooting-wise........ |

Rick,
thanks for explaining how the board features work; maybe it is news to some of the new guys- many members don't put anything into their profile- would be great if they did. I like first names- I don't normally call folks" Goodday" or "Chickenthief". Never said it was a heart or deal breaker. Jose's location is not in his profile, it can make a big difference in the answer to a question- location that is- here or there- US or Europe or California- Northern or Southern hemisphere. etc.
