Default Weimar Ammo

This has to be a record price for a box of Weimar Luger ammo.

The seller has a second box up - Geo, ask him if he has more.
I am the high bidder on the 2nd one as I have a 1920 (December) but not a 1921

I had plans once to put some ammo like these in my trommel boxes with the original drums & loaders..Sadly...not to be!

It's "only" not quite 27.00 per round.....yikes. This guy gets good money for his stuff. I check his auctions once in a while, on GB and fleabay.

I was following that also, came away very surprised.

I'm still looking for a WWI box, may have to rethink that...

George, yes, pretty much like that you rascal! Oh well...not meant to be. I am actually pretty pleased with what I do have. Dang it! Sour grapes anyway.

Larry did quite well on that one. I have a couple of boxes that I ought to dig out. No, I think that I will hold them for my retirement.

About 5-6 years ago, a guy at the Show of Shows had about 10 boxes of them for $20.00 each. I bet that's where Larry got them.

I just checked at Ammoseek.com and the lowest price per round for WWB 115 FMJ brass is 77 cents--plus shipping. It was commonly less than 20 cents per round at Wally World when they used to sell it. Let's say my thankfulness is somewhat tempered.

I doubt it, Larry doesn't keep things that long to sell!
In an out.

I'd like a box to go with my police lugers, but not at 1/3 the price of another pistol.

I know who got that box, wasn't Larry

and was just outbid on gunbroker - lets see where it goes...

Neil, you have weimar ammo or WW1 Weimar I have seen it only a few times - my one 1920 box was steered toward me by Geo (thank you as always).
