I believe that I still own a few pairs of Jay Scott grips.....none for Lugers.

I didn't like them. You can barely see it in the pics, but they have a tan-colored 'backing' about 1/8" thick that is the inner face of the grips. Very unattractive.

We've discussed them before. Some like them, some don't.

The wood backing makes the grips more stable in dimensions/fit--unlike the roughly contemporatry Franzite ones, which shrink over the years.
