1940 luger
My father passed away a few months ago and my mother gave me his german luger. The serial# is 1491 and 91 is stamped on the gun in six places, and 1491 is also stamped on one of the magazines. It also has fancy M in front of the trigger guard. The gun is in mint condition and so is the holster. The name on back of the holster is KARL BOCKER 1940 WALDBROL. And a #WaA195 is also stamped on the back next to his name. Is there anyway of finding out about the man who carried this gun, or his family? My father only bought one box of shells for this gun in thirty years that he owned it, and half of the shells are still in the box. Im trying to find out as much as I can about the gun. Thanks to anyone with any information.

Coby,
If you have reviewed the posts of this forum for a while, you will see the type of photos that will help in identification of your pistol. These will help in evaluation. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
