Default Infraction

I wasn't aware that my posting about my Art. luger and its various accompanying pieces constituted a "chat". I'll refrain from posting anything that might be construed to be a "CHAT" item. Sorry I posted anything of the sort.

Don't worry.

It is just forum policy to keep for sale ads clean and not create further discussions in them.

Vlim ------ I don't intend to sell anything and didn't realize the posting I tried to answer was an add for "sale ads". I'll keep all mention of my Art. lugers out of this forum. Please remove my infraction. Thanks

You wrote in the for sale area, two separate times.
You were warned TWICE not to do so.
Please see where you are writing before doing so…

ED ---- Thanks for your posting above. No, I'll never enter into the WTS or WTB post again. I did that unaware of where I was posting and the comment and wasn't intended to disrupt the guy's post. I have a couple Art. lugers with various original accessories which I thought were the subject of the posting. I'll never post anything about them or post photos of the lugers and their accessories in this forum just to make sure they don't get mistaken for a WTS or WTB. Thanks for the warning.

I'd better not post anything in this forum concerning lugers for awhile since it appears that I'm still in hot water from what I mistakenly posted last week. I'll only use the off subject part of the forum and read other folks' posts without making comment. I don't want to be banned from the forum. From the appearance of Ed's posting above, I'm only one comment (or less) away from the ban. I apologize for the mistake I made. It was not intentional.

Don't be a drama queen. Just pay a little more attention to whay you post and where.

This forum is not run like a POW camp, but we do have some rules to keep things running smoothly.

You break the rules - inadvertently
You get your hand slapped - Oh well, it smarts for a bit

Vlim has already mentioned that the slap expires - unless you keep scratching the itch
Do not act as if this has never happened to anyone else.

Until the "infraction" is removed I'll just keep my distance from any luger comments. I'll read other folks' comments but not reply. Lugers have been, are and always will be my choice of gun subjects. Thanks for your understanding remarks.

I don't know what is included in being a "Patron"? Not familiar with the term and its function(s).

Yakman ----- Yes, I've read all their posts and have paid attention to each of them. I appreciate their help and realize they are both good men and have my interests at heart. But until my "infraction" has been removed and I'm no longer viewed in the forum as one who butted in and became a trouble maker, I think I should just maintain a low profile. I enjoy reading other members' postings and learning from what they have to say about their lugers. I think it would be best on my part just to read them and not reply to them until this situation blows over. Thanks for your comments. I really like the Luger Forum and sure don't want to be banned from it.

Vlim ----- I'm all for "keep things running smoothly" and at my stage of life (almost 90) the smoother things run the better I like it. The method of reprimand I received from Mr. Tinker yesterday somewhat got under my hide though. He did not have to post his reprimand directed toward me in BOLD type to make his point. In my mind he wanted everybody's attention to be directed toward me and the inadvertent and unintentional mistake I made. I've apologized for my mistake hoping that might be sufficient and made it as plain as I could that I would never post any photos or comments concerning my Art. lugers or their accessory pieces in this forum. I've made that promise so I might not be accused of interfering with anyone's attempt to sell their pieces. I've spoken my mind on the matter and hope it is clear . I'll maintain a low profile (read only) in the forum until my "infraction" has been removed. Thank you.

A good place to start is to read the directions. We call them rules. Then and only then can you become someone who keeps a low profile. No missteps because you understand how it works. Often mods type in bold to alert not only you but others who may be doing the same thing. helps everyone. A reminder of sorts.

Calm yourself. Your in the penalty box for a short time. On your time off...read the directions.

And welcome...we would all like to see and hear about your Artillery's. just post them under anything concerning Artillery and steer away from WTS. Thanks...

lugerholsterrepair ----- Thanks for looking at my post. Yes, I have read the rules. I never intended to break them but did so strictly unintentionally . I have given my word here in the Luger Forum that I'd not post anything concerning my Artillery Luger pieces and / or their accruements, to avoid being accused of anything improper. I hope yourself and other forum members here are able to understand my principals in the matter. After the "penalty box" is lifted and I'm set free again, I'll do my best to keep all my entries in the forum very plain and simple so as not to offend anyone. I'll NEVER post anything in this forum concerning my Art. Lugers or their accruements and not mention them again.

I'll be mighty glad to be let out of the "penalty box" and be able to carry on as a regular member of the forum. Thanks for the postings.
