1921 dated Commercial
Seen at a local gun show, today:

A fairly scarce variation not often seen. I don't believe it is commercial, but rather an early Army issue if it did not have a sear safety. The Army version is much scarcer than the Police issue. |

That would agree with Jan Still's book on the Weimar pistols. By commercial, I mean it has the commercial type serial numbers...not military style.
