LU1900's GNR Rig...
Our LF member, Patrice, asked that I post some photos for him of his GNR rig and his newly acquired GNR holster.
What a nice looking rig ! Glad the holster found a nice GNR pistol to spend their twilight years together... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" /> Congratulations, Patrice !!! <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_1.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_1.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_2.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_2.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_4.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_4.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_5.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_5.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_6.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_6.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_7.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://forums.lugerforum.com/lfupload/lu1900_gnr_7.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> |

Wonderful! I really like "contract" Lugers, and if I didn't already have a GNR rig I would be eating my heart out. Nice going Patrice! (and kudos to Pete for his part in putting this rig together)

Nice rig, particularly like the lanyard, been looking for one. Pete makes a good detective finding all these Luger items. Any idea on the correct mag for the GNR? Mine came with a type 1, unmarked alum base.

Hi Ken,
I think nickled tubes with un-marked alum. bottoms are proper for the GNR's...see a discussion thread in this same section started by "Lugers Down Under" from the April 2004 time frame... Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Viva France! That GNR holster is fabulous indeed and it goes very well in the set.
Pete is correct regarding the magazines for the GNR Lugers. Cheers, Albert |
