Krieghoff S-Code...
So why can't I find a nice 90-95% Late S-Code HK luger for under $ 3,000.00 ? The Blue Book says one should cost no moe than $ 2500 or so...
No need to reply...I am just venting... <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> |

I submit Luger pricing for the Blue Book, but most of my prices are ignored. I would love to be able to buy some of the rare Lugers at the prices in that book.

Brad I had heard before that prices were low in the Blue Book.
I wonder why? I would think it should reflect market value at the time of printing? Although in the last year, since I got into Luger Collecting, I have seen a rise in prices.

Hi Ed..!
I've seen the same thing in the Krieg world over the last year as well - prices keep going skyward. I don't know what the Bluebook bases prices on, but I would guess it's a composite of a recent pricing index of some sort..??? Best to you! John D. |
