Post My Recent Tool Find...

Was lucky enough to find this for sale in Holland. This is a post WW-II swiss tool for 7.65 cal. The seller is returning to Switzerland in May and will try to get more. I will invite him to post in our classified ads when he might have more for sale.

Regards,

Very interesting.

So, you use the tool to adjust the front sight left or right? Or simply to install a sight?

I have recently bought a similar item in Germany for P08.
I think this items interesting and not so easy to find.

I certainly can see the value of this tool. It takes a lot of effort to move the front sight on these guns to zero the windage using a brass punch.

Johnny,

I was able to get mine for $ 85.00 which included shipping & insurance to the States.

Not sure if this was a good buy or not, but since you do not see them too often and this was the seller's asking price, I did not want to insult him with any dickering...

I was just plain darned happy to have found it...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Hello All,

I did invite this fellow from Holland to log onto the Luger Forum and take a look around; which he has. He is also now aware of our Classified Ad section, so I would expect some postings when he has more things to sell...

p.s. Gerben, about that Dutch warehouse, please check your Private Messages...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

The nice fellow in Holland sent me another photo of other variations in Swiss front sight adjustment tools. Thought I would share the photo, so other folks can keep an eye out for these handy tools.

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
