Smile Lordy, Lordy, Lordy!! WD -3!!!

Work Day Minus 3!!!!Well, It's finally arrived! On the 20th of this month I will be going full time, and then some, on a brand new business adventure!!! So... I'm afraid that my presence on this medium will be scant.... as this looks to be an all out effort, to not only do well, but to literally survive in the manner we are acustom to! I have been surrounded by great people in the last few years, and it is what makes this opportunity possible!!! But like everything else in life, it seems as if there is no middle ground...either you are going up...or you are going down!! In short, you can't rest on the past... But, I have written this timely note to wish all of the forum members a very Merry Christmas! But especially to those who have been in contact with me over the last year... Thomas H, Art B, Mark C, Marc B, Ed T, Doc, Rick W, Peter D, Don, Doug, John D, John S, Frank, Howard, Hugh, Neil, Ted, Roland, Heinz, Noel, and Luke, and Richard , Leon, Jerry B, Orv, Bob T, Sam B, Ron, Johnny K, and most of all, RK & Chester.... and the rest, ( Didn't leave anyone out on purpose, I appreciate all!) ... This is a great forum, and I have made many, many friends as a result! best to all! till...way, lat'r...GT

Hey Jerry, GT just wants us to feel sorry for him because he has to go to work and maybe won't have time to drink any beer. I will take it upon myself to make sure that he has beer anytime he wants it by driving to my house. Of course, it'll cost him a magazine repair!!

GT, just kidding about the magazine repair!!

Hi Jerry! Well it's not as exciting as all that, but It is a big step up for me, and I'll be plenty busy!! My friend & employer for the last 7+ years has decided to open a new facility, and he has invited me to be a business partner with him in this particular venture... I will be the general manager of a 12 bay automotive service center, along with a retail department selling Artic Cat 4 wheelers/quads and accessiories....and on top of that, we will have U-Haul!!!! also there is 5 acres of mini & regular storage that I will assist in running, but will not be a part of that business... any one of these ventures would be a full time job for anyone... but all together, it will be an extremely demanding task.... All involved, my previous team of employees (great bunch of people!), have committed to being a dedicated part of the effort, and after a year of building and construction, are as excited as I am to get going!! .... it is a super facility, and the pace is quickening ... come Monday, I'll be going 100 mph just to keep from getting runover!!! I am, and alway do, hope for the best, but never more in my life, then at this juncture!!.... Best to all! til...lat'r....GT

Hey G.T.
* Is this all a con job to keep the real deal secret??
* I can see it now:
- At the U-Haul desk....LARGE SIGN stating: "It is unlawful to transport a Luger, P.38, etc., etc. out of Phoenix without showing it to G.T. first."
- At the storage facility: 'nother SIGN: Discount on storage of all WWII or earlier handguns...See G.T. for info on a good home...ah, I mean storage alternative!!
- Artic Cat showroom SIGN reads: "Trade slightly used actic cat spare parts for Militaria goods".
* Thats the real deal, right G.T.??
* Wish you all the success in your new venture & don't forget to heed the SIGNS!!
Respectfully (Best to 'ya & til later)
Bob

Hi GT,

Best wishes on your new venture. Just don't forget the "all work and no play" adage.

I can see the headlines now. GT, as a result of his incredible business success, has cornered the US market for P.38s and P.08s, not to mention holsters, especially pigskin P.08s.

Regards and happy holidays, Leon

Hey RockinWR! I certainly like the ideas!! I'm sure I can put a "informative" Poster up somewhere!! And yes Leon, If financially successfull, I think the best comparison would be like "The Brain" in Pinky and the Brain! "And tomorrow Pinky we take over...." and so on!!! At least as far as DLU pigskin's are concerned!!! Best to all, and a sincere thanks for all the support!! Best to all til...lat'r...GT
