Found web site..
Hi All,
I don't have any connection with this seller - I just stumbled on a link from another forum for some surplus ammo. Then I was looking at the guns for sale section: http://www.ammoman.com/GUNS/index.html There is quite a broad spectrum of arms for sale including and arty, 1900 AE, & Police. He has a couple of descriptions - where the claimed manufacture date is different than the chamber date (not a double date). For example: "1914 Military Erfurt Luger w/chamber date of 1917" "1914 DWM ARTILLERY LUGER Dated 1917" I don't recall seeing any similar descriptions before anywhere. Am I missing something here?? Fritz. |

Must be saying that the model is 1914, which was the first year of official Artillery model production... and the chamber date is the actual date of manufacture... is my best guess...
I can't say I was impressed with any of his prices except maybe the Walther P-1 rigs for $299 in new condition... that one isn't bad.
