Post Charlton Heston

Gentlemen,

A great man and American is about to leave us. As a forum, would John S. and John D. please send a message of support and appreciation to this outstanding defender of rights and liberty?

Wes, I share your admiration for Mr Heston. I heard he was ill but has decided to stay in as NRA President until April. The recent TV spot I saw of him, sadly, he didn't look well to me. I deeply appreciate all he has done for us. I SECOND the idea!

A sad day for America. May God be with him.

I think we may be putting the cart before the horse. He has been diagnosed with early stages of alzheimers but he is not knocking on the pearly gates just yet. Here is today's news,

It would be sad to give our appreciation to him whenever he is unconcious of our existence. Now is the time that he can accept our thanks.
