I also had a near by Thunderstorm that took out my phone ringing system this weekend. I can call out, but can't get incoming calls. Please delay calling me @ 636-447-3006 for a day or two, until this is fixed. Tom H.

Last year, in the autumn, a lightning bolt across the valley on Mt. Logan killed 56 elk at one stroke! This was above timberline and my wife and kids had to hike up to see the grusome sight. I went along as a sympathy object. Bears were already there feasting on the carcasses.

The smell was awesome! The carcasses were in some very grotesque postures.
