Dad's Guns
Well, just to let people know, in less than a year, I have 58 pages (all Publisher format) of stories of guns brought back, given to loved ones, from Dad's, Grandfathers, unknowns, etc.
My main focus is stories actaully brought back from WW1 or WW2, but have included most stories I have received. It is in Publisher format (easiest to move, write in etc) and is an interesting read with stories from Indoneasa, Germany, several from Canada, and ALL over the US. Ed

Am I too late to get the von Rib piece and the first M1911 A-1 in ocupied Tokyo included? If so, I apologize; maybe for version 2.0. If not, let me know when your drop dead date is. Tom A. |

If you send me the info via e-mail and your snail mail, you (and others can get both).
This is an on-going project and I would really like to include both of those guns! {{{and any others!!}}}

This is an old thread; but one I have been wroking on (although it was on back-burner while Graham and I worked on the Simson Book).
I am at 132 pages and a publisher has said they'd like to publish begining of the year. It'll be a smaller book, above pocket size, but not Simson luger size, plus should be all in color and sell for around $29.99 or so, possibly less if paperback. My point is, if you have any reasonably good documented bring back items that you'd like put in this book, I need the information by the end of this week. I am looking for true stories, if your uncle Mak got the luger form a card game, thats okay! If he took it off of General rommel himslef, thats okay too, but maybe a bit of providnance for the last one? ED
