Ballistic, there are so many variables, that it really can fluctuate, not the least of which is what is your 95% compared to mine. This variation is out of my knowledge, but wanted you to understand that value can be very wide.

"Special" markings, scratches, reblue, all make a huge difference. Can you provide pictures from many angles? That helps to set an approx., value, but of course holding it in your hand makes a huge difference in judging value.

And it is because we get many requests such as this, and then see the gun up on gunbroker a week later, that we really like to see more of a gun before we give a "value"

Michael,

Assuming the pistol you are asking about is indeed all matching, original finish, and at 95%; the Blue Book of Gun Values, 24th edition, on page 926 lists its value at $ 1600.00.

Based on the gun's serial number of # 14336 you reported, this gun was made at DWM in 1913 when 815 pistols were made for the Swiss that year by DWM. This info. is from V. Bobba's book on Swiss lugers on page 206.

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
