Post Don't Forget Low-Tech Luger Hunting...

In the world of the Internet and the www, it is easy to forget another method of luger hunting...

I was traveling on business through a town last week and picked up a local newspaper during lunch.

Low and behold, a couple is advertsing lots of lugers and luger parts for sale; due to the husband's health failing. He has been collecting for many, many years. I have an appointment next week to visit their home and look over their wares. I am hopeful to see some Swiss cross pistols !

Come to find out, this couple is not "wired" and could care less...

I will never pass up newspapers,, again, especially free at lunch counters...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

My last Luger was even lower tech, word of mouth. I did talk to the man on the phone(my boss's dad) I bought my first Luger at the tried and true gunshow(Maybe even Lower tech). I've bought several old military bolt rifles out of classified ads, 1 rifle and 1pistol off the net. A persons gotta use all available resources when he collects things.

Very interesting, you never know...

I'd ask you to keep an eye out for Weimar Police Items, but the divorce or chopping block from the wife, well you understand. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Pete, If you don't purchase the luger parts available, please refer them to me. Thanks, Tom @ 636-447-3006.
