Post M1924 Bern Swiss Holster...

A fellow Swiss "nut" was just lucky enough to score this very nice, Swiss M1924 holster, dated '40.

Nice to see such excellent leather can survive...

Pete,

That is one beautiful holster! I admire and appreciate fine leather holsters and the skill it takes to make them. I wonder what has kept this holster so pristine? How and under what conditions was it stored I wonder? and has it received any leather treatment over time? I know the answers to these questions are probably not obtainable but it would be interesting and enlightening to know! Thanks for posting the pictures, it is great to see something that old that nice.
